Effective June 19, 2026
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of NotaWA, including its WhatsApp messaging experience, dashboard, and paid subscription. By using NotaWA, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
NotaWA is a personal record-keeping tool that lets you enter income and expenses through WhatsApp and review them in a web dashboard. NotaWA is not a bank, accounting firm, tax adviser, investment adviser, or financial institution.
You remain responsible for checking your records and deciding whether the service is suitable for your financial, tax, or reporting needs.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a contract and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity performed through your account.
Notify us promptly if you believe your account or WhatsApp number has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use NotaWA to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious content, probe or disrupt the service, bypass usage limits, or access another user's data.
You must not submit highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for expense tracking, such as full card numbers, government identification numbers, or account passwords.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the transaction notes and other content you submit. You grant NotaWA permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
You are responsible for having the right to submit any content you provide.
5. Plans, payment, and renewal
The Free plan and current paid plan details are listed on the Pricing page. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until canceled.
NotaWA's payment provider acts as merchant of record and processes payment, taxes, receipts, and billing information. The provider's buyer terms also apply to purchases completed through checkout.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription through the NotaWA billing portal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Refund eligibility and request instructions are described in our Refund Policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep NotaWA available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the product evolves. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect a paid subscription where required.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a material breach of these terms. You may stop using NotaWA at any time.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, NotaWA is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible for decisions made from user-entered or automatically categorized records.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above. Material updates will be communicated through the service when reasonably practical.
Questions may be sent to support@notawa.com.
